Facebook’s founder and chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg has said his company is going to launch “something awesome” next week. He declined to give more details of the coming release.
Last week Carl Sjogreen, product manager for the Facebook Platform, told The Telegraph that Facebook was focused on becoming an internet platform rather than just a single destination site. This strategy he said will stop the social network suffering the same ‘fad’ fate as MySpace and is the reason why the service has continued to grow.
Now we need to wait and see “something awesome”.
