Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria Kaczyńska were killed when a plane carrying 132 people crashed in a fog on an airport in Russia, killing everyone on board. Several senior government officials were also on board the Tupolev Tu-154 plane.
Lech Kaczyński was born in Warsaw on 18th of June 1949, died on the 10th of April 2010.
